Ministry Overview
Paul and Susi Childers have pioneered several ministries that serve as the foundation for their public speaking ministry. They are also in leadership with Loren and Darlene Cunningham at YWAM Kona (University of the Nations Kona).
Bible Revival
The Bible Revival focuses on immersing people in God’s Word so that lives are transformed. This takes on several expressions: Word by Heart training, Word by Heart Gospel Presentations, Revelation Encounter, and Bible Teaching.
Each of the expressions are detailed below.
Voice for the Voiceless
A Voice for the Voiceless “speaks up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:8-9). This ministry does this through prayer, publications, and public speaking. The heart of this ministry is to serve the voiceless so that the gospel may become clear for all to see.
PhotogenX
photogenX uses photography to shine God’s light on his world. The ministry does this in three ways - exhibitions, publications, and public speaking. Often photogenX will go to extreme locations to capture God’s heart. Although these locations are often full of pain, we find the beauty and the finger of God in each situation.
University of the Nations YWAM Kona
University of the Nations YWAM Kona engages approximately 3,000 participants a year in all forms of training from preschool to Masters level and counts roughly 650 individuals as staff. Each year we run ministry in over 80 countries all over the world. We also have a strong focus locally on the Island of Hawaii (Big Island) were we serve in many different categories of life.

Bible Revival Expressions
Word By Heart Training: This enables participants to learn God’s word by heart. The training can range from 4 hours to three months. Depending on time, participants quickly learn passages of God’s Word by heart.
Word by Heart Presentations: Using only the text of Scripture, these presentations outline the life of Jesus as told in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These presentations can range from 10 to 90 minutes.
Bible Teaching: Paul Childers focuses on teaching whole books of the Bible. In 12 hours, he can give an overview of the whole Bible or present an entire book. Each book is treated as a literary whole and the purpose is to open up the natural message of the book and apply it to life.
Revelation Encounter: Using only the text of Scripture, it brings to life the vision of the Apostle John using visual imagery, music and worship. It is a spine tingling depiction that highlights Jesus as the Kings of Kings.
What People Are Saying
Paul and Susi embody a unique combination of communication gifts specially designed by God. Both are grounded in the Word and have anointed public speaking ministries. They exude a passion for God and His world. They know the world. By the end of his 20's, Paul had traveled around the globe in ministry more times than most people travel around their nation. And Susi, a professional photographer who uses her camera to capture the intrinsic value of each individual, has trekked into some of the most remote peoples of Africa, the Middle East and the Amazon.
